After a plant consultation, Plant Mahmah will custom design the living plant wall to fit your preferences and needs, and to fit seamlessly into your space. Once it’s designed, Tiffany offers a full installation service so you can bring your walls to life without having to worry about a single thing!
If you prefer to install the plant wall yourself, the assembled plant wall frames are delivered to your door, and all you have to do is hang them up! It’s as easy as hanging a picture frame.
-
Delivery time depends on your order and location.
If you request a custom plant design, Plant Mahmah will quote timelines. We can design and deliver a plant wall in the GTA within a few weeks. A full plantscape with multiple plant walls can take longer.
-
The plant wall itself includes a frame designed to hold plants, with an invisible irrigation system and vertical “pots” for your plants.
All you need to purchase is the soil and your favourite plants.
Your local nursery can help, or you can ask about our done-for-you plant design and installation services available in the Greater Toronto Area.

Moisture-loving houseplants will be perfectly happy in our plant walls.
The built-in irrigation system delivers a steady supply of water. So, even if you have a dry environment (like a condo or like most homes in the Canadian winter), humidity-loving plants will thrive.
Avoid drought-resistant or low-water plants (like succulents). If you do want to use plants like these, water them occasionally through the soil in the front of the plant wall and do not use the built-in irrigation system.
-
For best results, choose a wall that gets sun exposure.
Different plants have different light requirements, so ask your nursery or research the plants you plan to use in your plant wall.
Sun-loving plants need a space with unobstructed sunlight from a south or south-west-facing window. Medium-light plants can thrive near an east or west-facing window, out of direct sunlight. Low-light plants can be near a north window and out of direct light.
Plant Mahmah can help you find the perfect spot and pick the right plants with our custom plant wall design services.

No special tools are required. You just need a drill and a level. Screws and brackets are supplied in your plant wall package.
If your wall is concrete or brick, you’ll need a masonry drill and bit. If you are installing your plant wall on a plasterboard or gyprock wall, you will need an expanding wall plug. Choose a plug that can carry 11 pounds, which is the weight of the frame with plants and water. Usually, expanding plugs can carry up to 25 lbs.
The screws have a crosshead or Phillips screwhead, so you’ll need the appropriate drill bit.
If you would rather have it done for you, ask us about our plant wall installation services available in the Greater Toronto Area.

This plant wall works without electricity, drainage or a water connection. It’s a self-contained system.

Hanging this plant wall is really like hanging art. There’s no reason you should damage your walls.
You’ll only need to drill small holes for screws because the plant wall is made of light materials, and the total weight is only 5kg (11 lbs), including water and plants. Residential walls can easily sustain this weight.
There’s also no chance of water damage with normal use. The irrigation system is sealed tight and directs water to the front of the frame, where the plants sit.
-
The unique design of these plant walls includes a built-in water irrigation system. You can neatly pour water into the reservoir tank from a discreet access point at the top of the frame. It’s very easy, quick, and looks like magic because the watering happens invisibly!
-
The plant wall tank can hold 2 litres. When the tank is empty, fill it completely. That’s it!
In most environments, you’ll only need to fill it every 4 weeks. When it’s very dry, you may need to fill the tank every 2 weeks and when it’s humid, you may be able to go for 6 weeks.
You’ll know when it’s time to refill the tank because the “empty” indicator will pop out. It looks like a cute, little red watering can. When the tank is full, a discreet indicator will let you know. Both indicators work without batteries or electricity.
